Navigating Army Morning Reports on NARA Catalog

LIVE Zoom Group Coaching Meeting

Tuesday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. CST

Army Morning Reports are one of the most important records you need to obtain to reconstruct an Army or Army Air Force WWII Veteran's service. Some of these are digitized on NARA Catalog but are challenging to search.

During this 90-minute small group coaching session on Zoom Meeting, I will:

  • Spend time prior to the session looking for your veteran in preparation to show you live how to navigate these records.
  • Explain what Morning Reports are and why they are so valuable.
  • Show you how they can reconstruct a veteran's footsteps.
  • Show you how to begin a search on NARA Catalog.
  • Walk you through the specific way to find your soldier or airman.
  • Show you how to find every month's unit reports.
  • Discuss various ways to search these reports to find what you need.
  • Explain how to obtain 1945 and 1946 reports.

A workbook will be sent prior to the coaching and a replay will be sent to registrants after the live event.

Space limited to 10 people.

This is not a general presentation. It’s active, personalized research support. Attendance live on Zoom is strongly encouraged.

No refunds.
