The World Wars changed everyone who served, especially those that saw combat. When the veterans returned home, their families, communities, and the world was changed. Many things were kept secret and silence reigned. Most people that I have spoken to about military research or clients I have worked with all tell me, He never talked about it. My grandma would never tell me what it was like after he came home. My dad grew up without a father and no one mentioned his name.

As the world changes more every day, it is time to start asking the questions we have been afraid to ask. To start looking at our genealogy and military research in a new way. To take apart, piece by piece, our family stories around the war, our veterans, and our family who loved and supported them.

In this webinar we are going to look at my family's story, which may shock you when you hear details. I am going to teach you some basic tools to start looking at your research in a new way. In October 2021, I have a class called, The Family's War Secrets, where we will take this to a deeper level and I will teach more advanced tools. Everything I teach you can also be applied to WWI, Civil War, European Wars, Vietnam, and even wars that have played out on the planet since Vietnam.

We will look at the hard things around military service, what happened on the home front before, during, and after the war, both in the U.S. and Europe. What was the propaganda in the U.S. and Europe around veterans, rebuilding after the war, how to welcome a veteran home, and how to readjust when he or she came home? No one was unaffected by this war.

In the introductory webinar, What's Wrong With Daddy? we explored questions and tools and started mapping out your veteran’s service. We looked at ways to identify beliefs, behaviors, and family and individual patterns that have played out. In this webinar we take one of those tools to a deeper level so you gain a new perspective about your veteran and your family. I will also teach you how to use a genogram in this webinar.

Hello! I'm Jennifer!

I’ve been on a conscious personal healing journey for more than a decade. My journey began while researching & writing about my family & military history. My military ancestors helped me dive deeper into my personal & ancestral trauma to heal.

By 2015 my healing journey & military work allowed me to travel in Europe & create a life both there & in Chicago. I became embedded in Dutch society, life, relationships, healthcare, politics, culture, got a deep dive into grief when I became a caregiver to someone I was in a relationship with & more, which gave me a unique perspective on our world & the layers of trauma we each carry, no matter where we live. Each experience I had in Europe gave me awareness & puzzle pieces for my healing & the healing of our ancestors & the collective. Puzzle pieces & awareness I can now share with you.

We are all connected no matter where we live, what our culture is, what our trauma has been….when one heals, we all heal.
